Meet Our Pastor

Jake Smith

Senior Pastor

At Ephesus Church, teamwork is at the heart of our mission! We are privileged to have a dedicated team of leaders, both visible on stage and diligently working behind the scenes. They share a profound passion for serving the Ephesus Church community and the surrounding areas. This dynamic team, under the guidance of Pastor Josh Morris, includes our Board of Elders, our Strategic Leadership Team, and campus pastors serving at each of our locations. We also take pride in our exceptional team of Student and Children’s Pastors, devoted to sharing the Gospel with the next generation.

What We Believe

These principles are the bedrock of our faith and shape how we worship, connect in fellowship, and serve our community. At Ephesus Church, we firmly hold that these words truly encapsulate our core values and teachings.

JESUS CHRIST

At Ephesus Church, we hold the belief that during His First Advent, our Lord Jesus Christ willingly departed from the heavenly glories, embracing full and perfect humanity in His incarnation.

SALVATION

In accordance with our faith, salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ is a redemptive process initiated entirely by God. Believers take part in this process solely by His grace through their faith in Jesus.

BAPTISM

Baptism, according to our faith, is a public declaration of one’s faith and a symbol of a new life in Jesus Christ. It serves as an outward testament to an inner, transformative experience.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

Our belief at Ephesus Church underscores the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit within all believers. He carries out His transformative work, leading to the new birth and eternal life.

PEOPLE

We affirm, as a fundamental belief, that God created humanity in His flawless image, encompassing both male and female, thus upholding the sanctity and worth of all human life.

THE BIBLE

The canon of Holy Scripture, consisting of 66 books, remains the exclusive authority guiding our faith and practice, a cornerstone of our beliefs at Ephesus Church.
